SNAG/Metalsmith
SNAG is a national membership organization focused on supporting jewelers and metalsmiths and promoting metalsmithing education. Metalsmith is the premiere publication of the art jewelry field and documents and archives the history and work of the field.
Membership cost: $58 for student membership, $69 for emerging member (up to 3 years out of school), $125 regular
Includes a year subscription to Metalsmith magazine
Conference: June 24 - 27

Ethical Metalsmiths
Ethical Metalsmiths is a member organization of jewelers, designers, buyers, and suppliers who are committed to environmentally responsible practices in all aspects of the jewelry industry.
Membership cost: $35 student, $50 educator, $150 emerging jeweler, $300 - $750 jeweler

American Craft Council
The American Craft Council is a national nonprofit committed to supporting craft and a culture of making. They are the host of large craft shows, including the flagship show in Baltimore. They also publish American Craft magazine, which documents and archives contemporary craft in a variety of media.
Membership cost: $30 student, $48 regular
Includes a year subscription to American Craft magazine

Munich Jewelry Week
MJW is an independent initiative that supports and communicates information about the jewellery exhibitions that are held across Munich, Germany each year. Usually held in parallel with the International Trade Fair for the Skilled Trades at the Handwerksmesse and its historic jewellery exhibitions: Meister der Moderne, Schmuck and Talente.

New York City Jewelry Week
A week-long celebration that invites a global audience to experience the world of jewelry in NYC. Their hybrid program blends in person experiences with virtual engagement and programming, as they host the best and brightest in the industry to deliver thought leadership, exhibitions, shopping experiences, retail collaborations, and first look designer discovery.

AJF Young Artist Award - awarded on even numbered years
$7500 unrestricted funds
Susan Beech Mid-Career Grant - awarded on odd numbered years
Awarded to an artist between 35 - 55
$20,000 awarded towards a specific jewelry project
SNAG Educational Endowment Awards
SNAG awards student scholarships with at least one scholarship awarded to a student attending a two (2) year institution and at least one (1) additional scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student. These scholarships are to be applied to tuition or course fees for the students’ educational programs. SNAG also awards scholarships for professional artists to use toward a course of study related to the jewelry and metals field in North America.
