Residency Program

Apply for our residency program

We are offering one one-month long professional mid-career artist residency for the spring, summer, or fall of 2020. Residency spots are available for May through November of 2020. The exact start date will be dependent on the resident’s schedule. Applications for this residency are now open.

The deadline for applications for the one-month professional mid-career artist residency is Saturday, November 30th, 2019 at Midnight EST

Applicants should be working artists, not hobbyists, who can demonstrate dedication to their artistic practice as a professional. Teaching experience is preferred.

We will also offer one-month and three-month long residencies for mid-to-late 2020. The exact start date will be dependent on the resident’s schedule.

The deadline for one-month and three-month long residencies is Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Midnight EST

Applicants should have prior experience/education in metals and/or jewelry and be prepared to work in a self-directed capacity. For our three-month residency, we will also consider artists who are working in other craft/art media who have a dedicated interest in learning metalsmithing and applied jewelry techniques. The ideal candidate is eager to enhance or expand their studio practice, build or continue a body of work, and engage with our vibrant community of makers.
