Metals + Jewelry: Teen Camp
Kirsten Rook | Monday - Friday | June 26 - 30 | 10am - 4pm
This week-long camp is an immersive introduction to jewelry making for teens. Through demonstrations and hands-on experience, students will learn about the history of jewelry, learn basic metalsmithing skills, broaden their understanding of what art is, and produce a variety of finished work in a short amount of time. Work will be photographed at the end of the camp for future portfolio needs. Taught by Kirsten Rook, accomplished metalsmith, Baltimore Jewelry Center instructor, and visual arts instructor at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Financial aid is available.
