A handmade finding designed especially for a piece of jewelry can bring an elegance and individuality that is impossible to capture with commercial findings. This course will lead students through the process of designing and fabricating unique clasps, ear wires,  and pinbacks that are both functional AND integrated into the aesthetic of the work. Students are encouraged to bring past jewelry pieces to use as a starting point for fabricating new, exclusive findings. Prerequisite: Introduction to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
