Earrings are integral part of a jeweler’s repertoire. This class will focus on investigating the earring format through a variety of methods and techniques in a playful and exploratory atmosphere. Students will learn how to fabricate a variety of different styles of earwires and connections while also getting a taste for working with a range of materials, techniques, and concepts. Students can expect to finish several pairs of different earrings, as well as several samples for future explorations. Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
