In this 12-week class, students will explore various ways to include color in their work and build confidence in incorporating color theory in the design and execution of jewelry and small sculpture. Students will explore color theory and concepts in addition to a variety of techniques and materials. Color application methods will include enameling, painting (including spray paints and lacquers), flocking, and powdercoating. Students will learn to utilize color as both a major feature and a subtle accent in their work. This is a great class for students at a variety of levels. Prerequisite: Intro to Jewelry or equivalent experience.
