Cloisonné Enameling

In this class, students will learn about cloisonné enameling, where “cells” are created using thin silver strips on a metal background and these “cells” are then filled with enamel and fired in a kiln. The course will include the use of transparent and opaque enamels, as well as the use of blending, foils, and pigments. No experience necessary.
