For the first time, we will be offering a collaborative program for students and renters. The program is called “Unfinished Business”. We all know that creativity can be a collaborative effort. For this program, you can trade a frustration or unsolved problem of yours for an inspiration from someone else! Bring in a partially finished piece or an element of a piece or something you started that's been hanging around your toolbox and receive someone else's donation in return. Then create a piece with your new treasure and show it off at the end of the semester potluck, December 19th!
We'll have a kick-off event to donate and receive as well as a sharing party at the end. If you can't make the kick-off, please leave your piece in the box labeled “Unfinished Business” (this will live on the tech’s desk).
We’ll hold the kick-off event on Wednesday, October 29, from 5:30-6:30. We’ll have snacks and drinks. Please let us know if you can’t attend but will be participating.
Participation is open to all Baltimore Jewelry Center community members, you need not be currently enrolled in a class to participate!
This should be a lot of fun and I hope you will consider participating!
